I guess not everyone is aware, this month of March is the Woman's Month, so I'm dedicating this entry to "the woman".

Do you still believe that we are alone?

I have always wanted to become an astronomer when I was a child. But growing up in a country where the only opportunity for astronomers is to be part of the weather bureau, I learned how to be realistic with my dreams early on. In the tropical Philippines, the weather is so unpredictable, especially during the months of May to June, when we cannot really tell whether the summer is over or not. It's very sunny in the morning and then rain will fall heavily during the later part of the d...

Don't be too depressed that the world is in grave financial crisis right now, because being depressed is the only thing you can do about it. So why bother for something that is beyond your control? Before you think of ways on how to save the world from this crisis or how to solve the global warming, go out there and find yourself a job first. Magic the Gathering Addiction

It started when I was working in WHO and saw some of my office buds playing. It was around 1998 if my memory still serves me right. I was really interested in learning the game and captivated by the beautiful artworks printed on the cards. But my curiosity was cut short because I was too indulged with after-office gimmicks, mountaineering, and scuba-diving at that time.

Then one day after a few years, my nephews visited our house with their decks and started playing in our liv...

First Step

bio Posted by bio at 10:54 PM on March 07, 2009 Comments comments (0)

I've been doing web programming and development since 1997, when the internet was still not part of every office. Ironically, long have I been asked to start-up a personal web space, but it didn't really felt like my cup of tea. And besides, I was too busy with my "career". Work, work, and more work... In my line of work, I had the chance to travel across Asia. I've been to Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Singapore. I experienced spending nights in hi-class ...
